I am Alicia Noelle Jones, an independent Fine Artist and Designer. Born in Jamaica and currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, I create acrylic paintings and watercolors. My designs reflect the archetypes of my Caribbean roots, intertwined with the vibrant culture of Brooklyn. The environment around me is a constant source of fascination and inspiration, fueling my love for experimenting with techniques and bright colors.

In 2014, I founded ANoelleJay to showcase my paintings to the world. Over time, it has evolved into a platform for not only imaginative paintings but also fashion design and home décor. Through my artwork, I emphasize the critical importance of water access, creating pieces that celebrate and bring awareness to New York City's water environments.

Beyond my professional achievements, I channel my creativity into my role as an artist and designer, owning and operating ANoelleJay. Since 2020, I have served as a Board Member of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse, an organization I have supported for over eight years through volunteer efforts that provide free kayaking programs to the public. My commitment to community engagement and financial acumen led to my election as Treasurer on the Executive Committee in 2022, where I continue to provide leadership and volunteer my time. Passionate about making water sports accessible to all, I am a certified kayaking instructor dedicated to breaking barriers related to income and location, ensuring that the youth and adults of NYC have the opportunity to learn kayaking. I lead educational trips along the East and Hudson Rivers, fostering a connection between the community and the city's aquatic landscapes.

Nature's variety and vastness are both tricky and inspiring. There is so much of the earth that remains unseen and will likely never be seen in our lifetime. As an artist, I strive to capture a fragment of that wonder. You can view my current collections and works in progress at ANoelleJay.com.

When I started ANoelleJay, my goal was to either create a new piece every week or finish an old one. This practice not only honed my skills but also helped me set tangible goals. Over time, creating has become second nature, allowing my aspirations to grow larger while still being achievable and fulfilling. To reach my goals, I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone. It is in this uncomfortable zone where magic happens, where a bit of glory resides. Embracing this stretching process has led to success.

I am very excited about the future of my art and hope that even more people will get to experience and enjoy my work. My next goal is to have my original art and home décor featured in every home, in publications, and on screens via movies and TV sets. I accept commissioned works and enjoy collaborating to bring your vision to life.

My leadership in art and other aspects of my life combines analytical rigor with a heartfelt commitment to advancing health and climate equity across communities. My work not only impacts the organizations I serve but also catalyzes broader societal advancements in healthcare accessibility, environmental sustainability, and equity.
